After my recent hospital COVID-19 ward stay with pneumonia in the lungs, Neal brought me home (with portable oxygen in tow) to find a beautiful bouquet of luscious purple irises. After a few days and gaining slowly more mobility, I placed the irises in the morning sunlight streaming through our home office window and pulled out the Canon EOS Rebel SL1 with reverse lens for macro photography. Not iPhone 13 Max Pro shots this time. What fun having the camera back in hand. A good start to a long recovery.
This little Christmas Cactus wanted to give us our gift after the holidays! One luscious, brilliantly colored bloom has brought life to a corner of the bathroom.
