My birthday trip June 2017 was to New York City, The Big Apple. Being the “AppleNerd” I truly am, we had to head to Grand Central Terminal which featured a beautiful open layout Apple Store. On my mind, “pick up the new PRIDE Apple Watch band!” My neon yellow band just wasn’t doing it for me anymore. I wanted to count steps, close rings and look fashionably gay all the while!
Notice if you can, how I put the new band on incorrectly. The colors don’t match!
Rising Red Lotus, Artist: Brandon Sadler, Krog Street, Atlanta, Georgia
I love traveling to Atlanta, Georgia because I get to discover so many different neighborhoods. One neighborhood that I really came to enjoy is Inman Park. This area has such a mix of old and new. Warehouses repurposed as an eclectic multi-use gathering space, a family friendly walking/biking path, more hip restaurants and breweries than you can shake-a-stick at and the murals or street art. The murals and public art make it a sheer joy to stop a corner a gaze on such talent and beauty.
Here are a few other posts from the Inman Park area near Krog Street. I hope you like them!
Street art, Fells Point, Baltimore, Maryland. Artist Kerry Cesen
Now every time I’m in my hometown of Baltimore, Maryland I love to stroll in Fells Point. I walk up and down this old historic neighborhood.
Again I am amazed by murals I stumbled upon! Turn a corner and find a community garden and a commissioned mural above it. And again the mural is by Kerry Cesen. Visit his website and Instagram.
