Tell me. What advice would you give yourself 5 years ago?
“Not to sweat the small things! Meaning I used to let everything upset me. Small stuff. I wasted time. Mom passed 4 years ago. That changed me, I realized I was so worried about too much and had let the important moments get away. I would have liked to cultivate peace within myself. Those moments really mattered; I learned the small things are important. Time is most important! I would tell myself that!”

I turned 95 Nov 2018. I built my house, a discount store for the community and fallout shelters with my own two hands! No cranes, no bulldozers! I was married 72 years before my dear wife passed away. I sure do miss her!
I love pork rinds. Favorite snack. I used to cook a lot. Fried corn sometimes and I made pear preserves.
Veteran. I served in WWII. Navy. I was a machinist.
I like TV Land. Bonanza, Andy Griffin Show, and Gunsmoke. Festus makes me laugh.
