    A Moment of Gratitude

    So happy together!

Gratitude allows us to see the best in each other and in our lives. Gratitude helps our moods, coping behaviors, health behaviors, physical symptoms, and overall life view, empowering us to become more optimistic.

COVID-19 seems to be bringing out the best and worst of humanity. Let’s take a moment to recenter ourselves and then share with all around us.

Is there anything for which you are grateful for? Your gratitude can be a spark in my day, my life, my world!

    Reblogged: Something Lovely

My husband read this to me from another blog. It seemed so timely! We both really believed that it should be reblogged as a wish, a hope of what human-kind could become. My thoughts are that Kelly Curtis, of “Kelly’s Quest” could have been feeling the same way.

    Something Lovely

    by Kelly Curtis

    SOMETHING LOVELY
    And people stayed home
    and read books and listened
    and rested and exercised
    and made art and played
and learned new ways of being
    and were still
    and listened more deeply
    someone meditated
    someone prayed
    someone danced
    someone met their own shadow
    and people started thinking differently—-
    And people healed…
And in the absence of people who lived in ignorant ways
    dangerous, mindless, and heartless….
    The earth began to heal—
    And when the danger ended
    and people found themselves…
    They grieved for the dead
    and they made new choices
    and dreamed of new visions
and created new ways to live
    and heal the earth fully
just as they had been healed.

Written after a plague had devastated Ireland in the 1860s.
