    This sunny day we were spending time at the Atlanta History Center, Georgia. The history center had plenty of exhibits to explore but today would be devoted to the outdoors. Believe it or not, Atlanta History Center has extensive walking gardens, a farm and the Swan House.

    The Smith Family Farm, no relations to this blog’s owner, Robert Smith, had walk through tours. Sheep, goats, and chickens roamed the small area amongst historical farm buildings as bees buzzed around the flowers.

    I looked down to see what might be some lost piece of custom jewelry just lying theare on the sidewalk. Shining and a bit mesmerizing this object demanded closer attention.

    Not realizing her beetle accessory had become unclasped then had fallen to the asphalt below, someone may be on a quest to recover this item.

    If not a lost brooch perhaps an ancient Egyptian artifact needed to unlock a millennia old mystic power?

    A sparkle of jade green, copper and sulfur yellow, I got way down, up close to examine him.

    He turned out to be a Green June Beetle.
