    The Look Back: October 2023

    Ok photogs, Do not Be Alarmed! I repeat… Do Not Be Alarmed!

    Of course it’s still just May and we have not recklessly skipped over the Summer graduations, school being out, holidays, picnics, vacations and trips to the beach our hearts have benn longing for all year! I was reminiscing and the following quote with it’s post came to mind.

    Why do the months past so? October, who but you knows what the month holds for us! 

    “There is no season when such pleasant and sunny spots may be lighted on, and produce so pleasant an effect on the feelings, as now in October.”  “I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” “October is a symphony of permanence and change.”  “October, baptize me with leaves!”

    In September I actually traded in my iPhone 13 Pro Max for a new iPhone 15 Pro Max.

    Beautiful green leaves brightened by afternoon light. Beauty in the bathroom. Always keep flowers in your bathroom!

    Lovely little birdie outside our Airbnb condo, December 12, 2023. Actually I had more pictures from the holidays but unfortunately when I was transferring them from the card to my iPad Lightroom, the app said “transfer complete, delete or keep on card”. I chose. Delete, of course, I’ve saved them. My attentioned moved to something else I was doing.

    Well….

    When i returned to view the Lightroom transfer window said error in coping the photo to iPad. What!!!! Hundreds of photos lost! I’m not doing that again! 

    Next time: Remove card…1 Check iPad for photos…2 If photos are present, place card in camera then delete card…3

    What a year! Ok photogs, I have to get back to “snappin” some pics. Looking forward to an amazing month! Later!
