Lately I have had my trusty iPhone Pro Max in my hand everywhere I go. I recently remember why I loved the feel of an actual “camera”, my Canon. The experience is night and day. The approach, totally different and satisfying too. So I decided that I will no longer deny myself and with camera in hand, get back out there a start “Snapping” 📸

My first square blog in the new year happens to be on my first hike at a park this new year. Neal and I woke up Thursday morning with nothing on the agenda that day. At the breakfast table he suggested checking out a park we had not yet explored. J. F. Gregory Park in Richmond Hill, a short 30 min ride away.
It was good plan! I got my boots out the closet and we filled water bottle then were out the door. A quick fill up of gas, on the road and in no time at all we were there.
Such a gorgeous day! A lovely walk, 3 miles. (Paved most to way, I did not need hiking boots!) Many things caught my eye this trip like these…
Steps and Shadows! Checkerboard trapezoids! Lines and lines. So many lines! I love it!
