The Highland Inn, Atlanta. I love this historic inn. Everything about the place brings a sense of nostalgia and speaks vintage right down to the impressionist pictures of French ladies on the wall.
There is beauty! An artistic simplicity that era offered.
Get a room and walk the halls! You may even catch a glimpse of the resident cat. He is sort of a celebrity!
These beautiful golden doors caught my eye as I was walking along busy Drayton Avenue, Savannah, Georgia on Wednesday morning. Gold doors and granite walls! Wow! I even said out loud to my husband, “I found my Thursday Doors!”. This is the rear entry/exist of “The Lafayette“ , condominiums Situated on famed Lafayette Square, one of Savannah’s 22 squares.
I somehow captured the image of myself capturing the image of the golden doors. How Cool is that!
This Atlanta building had nothing left of its structure but the facade. A front wall held in place by huge beams of wood. The front facing wall was complete with windows and doors that opened to nowhere.
