Photography 101: Street Day Two
During a recent trip to New Orleans, I found myself on one of the famous streetcars that travel the iconic Crescent City. They are a great way to really see the city, not just the French Quarter. This day we, Neal and I, took the St. Charles Line, the oldest continuously operated streetcar in the world, which made its way up and down Saint Charles Avenue. It was absolutely beautiful, the mix of historic mansions, universities and churches. Oddly, the tracks of the street cars also doubled as paths for runners and joggers.

How lovely! I’ve always wanted to visit New Orleans, but unfortunately there were hurricane warnings when I was travelling across America so I didn’t go! I really love your home page photo by the way, you look very happy taking photos, which it’s a great warm intro to your blog!
