Nature’s wonder! Tiny crabs nibble on fungi growing on a decomposing tree. What a discovery as we spend the day at Crooked River State Park, Saint Mary’s, Georgia.

wow, how amazing. I never knew there were crabs that ate fungi!
I discovered humans enjoy mushrooms (fungi). I have seen many animals eat these nutritious edibles like squirrels and also insects.
My daughter lives shrooms! :) :) Not so sure about the little creepy guys!
Ha! Even mushrooms in the grocery store give me the creeps but they make excellent photography models and add flavor to my pasta sauces. Ha!
Fascinating. Thank you for sharing.
