I think the beauty and the wonder of macrophotography is when you realize tiny details that have been right under your nose all along. While visiting Cherry Log Mountain, Cherry Log, Georgia we decided to travel to the nearby Lake Blue Ridge. Strangely after several years of being in the area we had never seen this mountain lake. Two goals: 1. Walk/hike this awesome lake. 2. Find some awesome tiny things to capture.

I aimed my camera at a hanging leaf. And Waa Laa! Tiny bug clinging to the leaf! Honestly… He was so small you could barely see him!

I’m not sure but Google says it’s a Mosquito.
