Spending a week at The Great Smokey Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, Tennessee away from the beaches and relative warmth of Savannah, Georgia’s Winter I found snow. Snow, glorious snow! So what does this boy do… Well, build a snowman oh course!

Not some grand Frosty! A small friendly, in the palm of your hand snow buddy. Yes, I’m proud of him! I’ll name him Carl.

The main road (route 441) through the Great Smokey Mountains National Park had been closed Monday thru Wednesday and had just opened up for travel because of snow/ice on the road. The higher up we drove the more snow was on the sides of the road.
