Finding feed for Squirrly
Most people know that bird feeders attract squirrels so many folk place corn cob feeders for squirrels around to save the bird seed for the birds. Squirrels find very inventive ways to steal that precious bird seed. What most people don’t know is how incredibly hard it is to find this type of squirrel feed.
Neal and I had all but given up the search after going to all the grocery stores and home repair stores in Savannah, then we remembered a nearby bird specialty shop, Birds Unlimited. The logic was if they sell all things birds then we’ll find cobs for squirrels.
This where we met Duke. Taking up residency in the back of the store, he wandered whereever he pleased and gained the attention of all shopping in the store. Duke was so friendly but I had to buy that squirrel corn cob which we found in this store. See you later Duke!

I was at my local Wild Birds Unlimited today buying suet. We don’t have a resident kitty but all who work there are most helpful!
