Silent Sunday: The Commuters, PPAC

George Segal’s “The Commuters” at the Port Authority Bus Terminal

Installed at the Port Authority Bus Terminal is a sculpture by American artist, George Segal called “The Commuters.” The three bronze with white patina statues depict commuters waiting for the bus, about to walk through an open door with the words “NEXT DEPARTURE” and a clock set at 3:00 o’clock.
