  3. We made our first ever visit to New York in September. I was struck by how many people are out and about at night. Here in North Dakota, they roll up the sidewalks at 8 PM. Well, not really, we have a vibrant nightlife in downtown Fargo, but from my limited experience it pales by comparison to New York City.
