Sunday Spring Salads: The Cobb

What is Robert Cooking?

The perfect after church lunch my friends! The Cobb Salad

Grab your forks!

I told you all before it’s far too hot on Sunday in Savannah for turning on the stove.

We still had delicious Honey Backed Ham from Easter. TIB (There seems to be no end to this $$$ dollar ham! Neal already made hambone soup.)

Salad building 101!

First get a big bowl.

Why? Because you might not want to share your personal salad with someone else (Neal).

Delicious mixed leaf and iceberg lettuces as a base, boiled egg, black berries, carrots and the star… ham.

Yes, our bowls were quite picture worthy! (Notice the placement of Neal’s napkin. He will be using at least two!)

Top with creamy ranch dressing.

Sweet raisin toast to add some crunch..

Time to eat!
