Neal and I were visiting the Flint RiverQuarium, the last of Georgia’s State Park and Historic Sites on our list. Located on the grounds is Cypress Creek Aviary, 35-foot-high enclosure, houses passerine and wading birds indigenous to the Flint River basin. Here a Great Blue Heron and Double Crested Cormorant are waiting to be fed by workers with a cart full of an assortment of fish and fruits.
