Ice from Rocks, Christmas Photo Challenge #4

30 day Christmas photography challenge full of festive wholesomeness.

4. Ice

During our trip to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park in December 2020 for our 4th Anniversary, Neal and I were delighted to run across a section along State Route 71 of the mountains and roads covered with snow.

As I drove along I saw a sight I didn’t quite believe.

Even closer, I couldn’t believe my eyes!

I had to pull over and investigate.

Ice had formed from water that was leaching from huge mammoth rock walls.

What a sight!

Christmas through the Years!
