    Neal and I decided enjoyed one of our favorite treats…

    Having a delicious Sundae on a Sunday!!

    Rich Tillumook Neapolitan ice cream, cold coffee, pecans, pistachio nuts, and the most tasty peppermint bark for Sonoma Williams.

    To enjoy our Sunday treat we settled down in our IKEA winged back chairs and I noticed Santa with his signature peppermint candy canes. Sorry to a bit naughty but Santa you have get your own.

    While snacking with YouTube holiday tunes playing Benny decided get into his comfort spot…Neal’s lap.

    Just Like Fall: Pumpkin Art, My turn

    Last year I said I would be upping my pumpkin game!

    Each year Neal and I like to place a Fall pumpkin outside our apartment door.

    My last holiday pumpkins were floral, this year there would be no outdoor displays.

    Just Like Fall: Pumpkin Art

    My choice to decorate came from someone’s urban pumpkin patch in our neighborhood we encountered this Fall.

    Just like Fall Again: Painted Pumpkins, Pumpkins Galore

    Silver and gold painted bands.

    My desk became my art studio. Careful, don’t spill that paint!

    My first gold bands looked good…

    but I soon believed painter’s tape was necessary.

    Surprise, Surprise! Thanksgiving morning this year Neal placed a small gift on the desk beside me as I was working and nursing my coffee. “Here you are.” Neal said. “Something a little special, but should already know what it is”

    How lovely! A gift while I’m still in my PJ’s.

    He was right! I remember walking in a store at the mall. Neal spotted the pin and said, “I should buy that for you but it’s not Christmas.” Then buy it I proclaimed.
