I am honored to feature a special guest photographer here on my blog. Patrice Johnson. Not too long ago I was able to reconnect with Patrice, my cool cousin from our home town of Baltimore, Maryland. I had not seen Patrice in years, since before I joined the Army over 25 years ago. We shared a great time with family gathering for high school graduations in Florida and I soon discovered something else we shared in common. Photography! Yes, Patrice is a true shutterbug! Don’t just take my word for it, for she will be sharing several of her pictures and her passions with you all.
My name is Patrice Johnson (cousin to Robert Smith). I was born and raised in Baltimore. I am very passionate about “positive” self expression as well as the arts. How do I express myself through art you ask … ? It is through photography. With photography you can go anywhere on the planet and not disturb a single thing but capturing everything through your lens.
I currently volunteer with the Maryland SPCA as photographer. The public are able to view available pets for adoption with their best “paw” forward (😂 ) through photos. Photos are displayed through social media, MD SPCA website newsletters and email.
