Atop Coolidge Park Antique Carousel. This 1894 Dentzel carousel is a central feature in Coolidge Park. The antique carousel was restored by local master wood carver Bud Ellis and a devoted team of craftspeople and volunteers at his studio “Horsing Around” located near Chattanooga.

I gaze up at their masterpiece inspired ceiling mural! It is surprisingly similar to the Sistine Chapel ceiling depicting Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam.
Java lovers always knew what early morning caffeine cravers somehow believed in their hearts. Yes it’s true! God passed the perfect cup of fresh brewed good-to-the-last-drop to Adam. Coffee and comfort came straight from divinity to us on earth. Humanity must have had a great morning!

I love urban living! Even more I cats! Add to these two loves, having neighbors that you can relate to. Dear friends of ours live on the same block as we do, opposite ends of the street, and they have a beautiful multilevel home with wrap-around balcony. I enjoy walking under this balcony because she has two lovely cats.
Meow! Look up! A cat’s head appears through the railing.
