Taking a slow scenic railroad train from Blue Ridge to McCaysville, Georgia Cooper Hill, Tennessee. The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway was a quiet and leisurely ride to the stop where a town is split in two states. So which “side” do you want be on? Georgia or Tennessee?

Yes there is an actual line through stores, restaurants and streets. Even a brewery! So choose a side, light (IPA) or dark (stout). Choose wisely!

Cooper Hill, Tennessee had their own train too.

One Word Sunday: Blue
Coincidence or providence? Looking back to a trip last October.

Neal and I traveled to Blue Ridge, Georgia to ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. We were wearing various shades of blue, walking with folks also dressed in blue, getting on a blue train car. To top things off, our destination was McCaysville/Copperhill. Two towns in two states, Georgia/Tennessee, that share a border and two cool blue signs that looked great against a beautiful blue sky.
