    You buy tropical fruit is the grocery store and sometimes, its not quite ready to eat. Needs a bit more sun! That is exactly what the kitchen window was made for… Right!

    In our little downtown Savannah apartment, the kitchen has no window. Well, actually the window is sealed and covered with shelves. So very DYI Channel I guess.

    How many pineapples do you see?

    Our bathroom has two very large windows that let in the awesome afternoon sun and reflecting on double the juiciness!

    What is this I have found during a morning walk through my saunter through the lovely homes on the historic district downtown. There is actually a pineapple above a door… in Savannah?

    The pineapple once represented unreachable wealth, the fruit now represents warm welcomes, celebration and hospitality, especially in the South. So how appropriate that this home for sale in Savannah’s Historic District, The South. Beautiful delicious red apples and a pineapple hung above the door greet potential buyers to own home in the hostess city.

    It’s morning again! Time to fuel up! So let’s do breakfast and make it, shall we say… Fruitful!

    I love fruit juiciness for breakfast! I love eating that breakfast of these beautiful heart plates, a gift for my birthday for my friend Benji. They remind me that love goes into everything that lands on these plates and then I eat that love. And colorful fruit stands out on it!

    Strawberries, blueberries and pineapple, are so good. Sweet and tart, blasting with flavor.

    Get in real close and you can almost savor the delicious juiciness of breakfast!

    I have to admit that on most days I rather enjoy breakfast time. I like eating fruit and other “healthy” foods during this important first meal. See my “Fruitful Mornings Posts”

    On this particular morning my elected ingredients were fresh cut pineapple, apple sauce and organic ceyon cinnamon. Fruit goes into the bowl. (I must tell you being a photographer means I take a lot of pictures of my food. That being said meal time can take a long, long time. Which Neal gives me that face, “Come on and just eat already“!) A bowl of goodness ready to be topped!

    The cap already off, I lift the spice jar and I am greeted by the organic spirit of happiness! A big cinnamon smile! Approval of healthy choices. That’s actually how I took it.
