Wildlife: Reptile – Lonely Turtle

Traveling along the Boardwalk Trail towards the overlook of Weston Lake, I said to Neal that it surprised me a little how we were walking in a national park near all this water and had not seen a single turtle. This was during our visit to Congaree National Park in February.

Not soon after that we saw little turtle sitting all by himself.

He happened to be the only one we encountered all day.
