Another morning out walking the historic district of Savannah. Today we were on Jones Street and met two of its residents.
I like meeting furry felines on my walks and today happened to be one of those meetings.
Strolling confidently, a cat, made his way up to me. Most the time, cats seemed to sit where they are or skittishly bolt if I invade their space. In classic cat fashion he began wrap around my leg then continued on his way.
Shortly after this encounter, we met his owner who cheerfully told us this was “Cottontail’s Street” and the cat would often walk the block then return home. As a precaution, Cottontail wore a collar with his name and address on it.
