First Drone Photos on Burnside River

Saturday six-word musings

Today my son-in-law let me take my first ever flight with his favorite new toy, a DJI Mavic 3 Drone. Boy can this little drone fly! We soared it high over the Skidaway Marsh area. Then nervously I guided it along the winding river.

During my maiden voyage I took my first drone photos. We spotted a boat making it’s way around the bend and I guided the drone’s camera towards the approaching craft then spun about to catch it leaving.

I guess I mastered it!

I processed the photos in Lightroom mobile.

You’ve inspired me to get my drone out of storage and do some more work. Nice job for a beginner. >grin<
I will wait, however, until the mountains of snow have gone, though. Neither my fingers nor the drone's batteries can last long in the cold.

John I’d like to see your drone photos. I’m sure your drone would love to take to the skies!

Beautiful. I don’t understand the drone idea, but it was still so pretty.
