For several years now Neal and I have placed a “travel tree” in our home. During our many vactions and traveling to Georgia State Parks and Historic Site we purposed to collect an ornament from each place we visited. Part of the excitement is as we decorate the tree get to experience memories of that place. Since we each hang different ornamental keepsakes, no two memories are the same, so decorating takes on a whole new meaning.
Our travels had me headed home to Baltimore for a family funeral right after Christmas.
Ok, back on the open road. 13 hours!
