I found myself at the Lucas Theatre. They were featuring “Star Wars Episode II – Attack of the Clones” in honor of Star Wars Day.
Lucky for me, living in Historic District Savannah mere blocks from our apartment, walking distance, there is the Historic and Famous Lucas Theatre.
Being a lover of all things “Star Wars”, yes a “Nerd” (The term fits here), a “Sci-Fi” dude, I purchased a singular ticket again,(Nealis NOT a lover of Sci-Fi, so I left him home on the couch).
The Lucas Theatre owned and run by SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) really knew how fanatic fans could be. This is their 5th year hosting a Star Wars Day screening. Each attendee, if desired could wait in line to get a Polaroid of themselves or group performing their favorite action pose.
Yes, I am trained in the way of “The Force”.
Notice the subtle Atlanta Braves team marketing, a standard Jedi mind trick. “ You Love the Braves, These are not the droids you are looking for”
I was not the only lover of Star Wars Day as many movie goers dressed the part as their favorite character.
How could it be a Star Wars celebration without light sabers?
Let’s all go to the Lobby
Popcorn? Not this year as the concession lines actually were into the auditorium and halfway to the stage.
Hey, no lie! The concessions line was that long!
A great seat, excited fans all around, a great theatre experience!
Next
Fans cheering and clapping, the-best-time-ever!
Returning home after enjoying the movie, Neal reveals that he ordered me a Star Wars “May the 4th” t-shirt.
Cat (Benny) loves man’s chair more than man (Me)...

This pandemic isolation allowed me to purchase a good thing, IKEA office wingback chairs.
Chosen for style and pattern, there was one for me and one for Neal. I love them.
Well…
Somehow there was obviously an oversight in who would love the chairs more. Over time Benny had a little something to say in how things were going to be in this home office. Sorry! So Sorry, Possession is 90% of the law!
I have scratches on my arms and legs to prove that is true, ouch!
Soon Benny’s cat toys and huggy kitty had taken up full-time residence and Neal’s chair is still his own.
By the way Benny took my office work chair too but I’m sure you already knew that. Ha!
Neal and had say goodbye to our lovely but very old historic downtown apartment so it could get a renovation. Kitchen and living room, which meant we cannot stay there for the next 2 weeks but we thought it would be more like a month.
