Today’s Beauty –

Wildflowers along the Atlanta Beltline

Neal and I took a drive to the newer Westside Trail of the Atlanta BeltLine. One thing I always loved about the Beltline, the wildflowers!

A vibrant garden scene featuring various wildflowers, including pink blooms and yellow-orange flowers, with some green foliage, set against a mulch background.
The Atlanta Beltline is a Level II Certified Arboretum featuring extensive, intentionally planted wildflower meadows, native grasses, and trees along its 16.7+ miles of developed trails.

The Beltline is so accessible from many places along the trail, yet walkers still find ways to climb on and off where there’s no access.

Signs are posted to save the plants and flowers.

  1. What a lovely few hours we had on the beltline. I want to go back and explore more on that side of Atlanta.

  2. BEAUTIFUL wild flowers, Robert! I’ve always loved the dandelions and clover that grow in our back yard and I especially love seeing the bees among them, knowing that those bees are keeping us all alive! I get so angry when the mowers (we life in a rental community and have no say over our lawn care) cut the wildflowers as if they were just another blade of grass. Luckily, they always grow back! Thanks for these beautiful pictures!
