    Trios – Travel

Neal and I planned a trip for our anniversary so the our travel buddies asked if they could invite a friend that would be with them.

So… a travel companion to the travel buddies?

Sure thing! Elf off his self.

Portraits of Me: Thanksgiving Gifted Cat Pin

The Holidays – Thanksgiving – Hello Kitty

Surprise, Surprise! Thanksgiving morning this year Neal placed a small gift on the desk beside me as I was working and nursing my coffee. “Here you are.” Neal said. “Something a little special, but should already know what it is”

How lovely! A gift while I’m still in my PJ’s.

A colorful gift box containing three cat-themed decorative items sits beside a coffee mug on a desk, with an orange gift bag partially visible in the background.

He was right! I remember walking in a store at the mall. Neal spotted the pin and said, “I should buy that for you but it’s not Christmas.” Then buy it I proclaimed.

A close-up of three decorative cat brooches in a red box, featuring a black cat, an orange cat with a Santa hat, and a white cat with a green bow.

How lovely! These “gilded” are stepping out in style! I need to introduce ya’ll the public and know just where to go. “Honey” we be going to “Church” kitties!

A smiling man with glasses and a beard wearing a cream-colored sweater, displaying colorful cat-themed pins on his chest, in an indoor setting.

Asbury Memorial, Gay men and their jewelry! New sweater, new pin. Wow, these guys deserve their own name tag!

A close-up of a cat-themed pin featuring three colorful cats on a beige sweater, with a name tag that reads 'Robert J. Smith, Jr.'

Pins? Yes! I have a collection!

    Hello Kitty: Washington Square Kitties

A sign displaying 'Washington Square' surrounded by lush green plants and a sign prohibiting bicycle riding in the square.

Walking in downtown Savannah you are sure to meet a cat. Stray cats, alley cats, collared cats, yes yes there be cats lurking. This morning walk I decided to explore our little neighborhood block. Washington Square has been our hangout spot for years.

As I headed back I caught the glimpse of cats just lounging in the Azalea bushes and Boxwood hedges.

Knowing this was their home I maintained some distance for my cat-photo-shoot.

Of course I had to pull over, stop and “snap” a few pictures.

Cotton bales wrapped in yellow plastic in a field under a blue sky with wispy clouds.

TIB (truth in blogging). As we drove by in one direction, Neal stated he would have stopped if had seen the cotton before we passed. So on our return headed back home I surprised him. “Aww”, that’s love!
