This day we decided to discover a trail that had previously been closed since 2016 for renovations. Now that it was open and relatively close we wanted to add the Police Memorial Park Trail to our list of trails.
This trail was just .06 miles an easy walk.
Almost immediately at the start of our walk… Hello! We were greeted by a local member of the wildlife community, a turtle.
All walkers are welcome on this trail!
It was obviously this little guy was headed somewhere, so we too continued on our way.
On our return, mister turtle had slowly yet intently moved off the trail to make his own. Good day, neighbor.
