Color Me Red! #28

Celebrating “Simply Red” – Museum Musing – Portraits of Me

The final July Simply Red square.

What am I seeing here?

An installation featuring red laser lights creating a sparkling effect on a surface of fractured polished steel.

The Li Hui exhibition: ‘Halcyon Fracture’

Marking Beijing-based artist Li Hui’s first major solo exhibition in the U.S., this exhibition features red laser lights reflecting off a surface of fractured, polished steel.

Friday, June 27-Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014 SCAD Museum of Art, Savannah, Georgia

Enter the red room and your perception of reality changes. Red lasers look like white dots, strange huh?

The fog machine allows you to see lasers that the eyes don’t usually see.

A close-up of red laser beams shining on a surface, creating a vibrant and dynamic visual effect.

Being, seeing, feeling red.

Photos taken with my iPhone 5s.

See you soon all my Squarefriends!
