Wonder!

A portrait captures a moment that’s gone forever, they are impossible to reproduce. Street Photography: That Magic Moment. My goal in this series is to create a really awesome frame of this person existing because they allowed me time to share their world.

One of my favorite things to do is people watch! As I’m walking down Broughton Street my eyes are amazed at the beauty and diversity of the human race. Most of the time are all in our separate world, lost in our own thoughts but then…

That magic moment! We find connection with our fellow man, our neighbor, our country man! A smile, a glance of recognition, a feeling of existing not alone but being a part of the invisible web binding all life together.

Then we know! Yes! We feel life is worth it all!

Evening walking…
Sunset spotting…

Beauty appreciated!

Broughton Street, Savannah, Georgia.

Walking home Sunday evening from dinner my attention was caught by a pair of beautiful eyes peering from a brick wall. As we approached I saw gray cat had perched himself on the wall. His fur seemed to draw in the darkness of the night even as street lamps brightened the buildings in the background.

After a moment I remembered where I met this sweet kitty. He belonged to our neighbors the Murphs who recently told us this cat loved to roam but knew when to come home for his “tender vittles.”

Here he is saying hello.

Sitting down to eat my chopped smoked chicken bbq sandwich when I noticed lines all around me.

Absent from this picture. The line of patrons waiting to access the toilet.

Climbing stairs
Climbing stairs within a mind, helps to discover what is already there.
Looking always for new ways of doing things, seeing ways they can be done.
Putting knowledge to the test and doing them one by one as they’re discovered.
Going constantly on to new challenges – finding out what can be done to solve them.
Coming back many times making sure nothing has been left undone.
Climbing stairs, one by one, with my mind, helps to discover what is already known.

Festival of Lights, Baltimore Inner Harbor, Maryland.

Like ducks in a row. Well, maybe not. More like little paper boats I was taught to make when I younger. Much younger I must add!

White little boats in line. Some drift with the current.

The little boats brighten up the night with multi-changing colored lights!
