This sunny day we were spending time at the Atlanta History Center, Georgia. The history center had plenty of exhibits to explore but today would be devoted to the outdoors. Believe it or not, Atlanta History Center has extensive walking gardens, a farm and the Swan House.
The Smith Family Farm, no relations to this blog’s owner, Robert Smith, had walk through tours. Sheep, goats, and chickens roamed the small area amongst historical farm buildings as bees buzzed around the flowers.
While walking on the Tybee Island beach, this Gulf Fritillary Butterflyhad to find a safe place to land and take a rest. He chose Neal’s hand. Lucky us. These butterflies are known to travel in swarms from Latin America to the Texas Gulf up to Georgia Coast.
