    It’s morning again! Time to fuel up! So let’s do breakfast and make it, shall we say… Fruitful!

    Kiwi Apple Coconut Slushy 

Slushies are made easily in the Vitamix by pulverizing fresh fruit with your favorite liquid, herb, or other additions. 

Ingredients 

- 1 cup (240 ml) coconut water 
- 4 (200 g) kiwis, peeled 
- 2 (220 g) granny smith apples, halved, seeded 
- 1 Tablespoon honey 

Directions 

1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid. 

2. Blend for 1 minute 30 seconds, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades. 

3. Pour into slushy pouches, seal shut, and place into freezer until desired use. For serving, pull and allow to thaw at room temperature for 45

    Tartness of granny smith and creamy goodness of kiwi! The perfect way to get some fruit in you.

    Get in real close and drink up!

    Fruitful Mornings #11 Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie… In a Bowl!

    Healthy smoothie anyone? How about in your bowl?

    Grab your spoon folks! You are gonna enjoy this!

    Grapes, strawberries, bannanas, frozen then blended with a spoon of almond butter and almond milk.

    I topped my bowl with slices of banana and grapes, fresh blue berries, peanuts and organic hulled hemp seeds. Beautiful and delicious!

    Ingredients

    1½ cup (360 ml) Peanut Milk

    2 cups (280 g) frozen red grapes

    ½ cup (70 g) sliced frozen banana

    2 cups (280 g) frozen strawberries

    Directions

    Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.

    Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 60 seconds, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.

    Serve immediately in bowls with your choice of garnishes – we love a drizzle of peanut butter or honey with freshly sliced grapes.

    What is Robert Cooking?

    Good morning! What’s on my plate?

    How about putting fruit into your French toast, well that’s what Martha Stewart did. And you can not argue with Martha, she is just too gracious and nice. And she knows how to cook!

    One of my favorite morning dishes is French toast! Covered with butter and dusted with pretty powered sugar. Neal does not share my fancy of the delight mainly because most french toast served is too moist… wet!

    Martha fixes this flaw by oven toasting the toast. Yes! I never thought of that.

    So where is this fruit you speak of Robert? Well, there is the zest of an orange and the juice of have an orange but the best thing Martha Stewart is known for is she does not shy away from cooking with alcohol, yes liquor! Orange liquor. Don’t you have some lying around? I had to make a trip our favorite beverage store to pick up some Grand Marnier Liqeuer, Pairs. The recipe said so! Oh this will up your street credit at the next family brunch!

    I had to reduce the quantity for just two people but that was no problem. Very easy recipe and into the oven.

    Too be truthful I’m in love with Ramekins! Mine are 7 Ounces Ceramic, Mini Casserole dishes with lids. So I’m always looking for opportunities to create recipes that make the ideal serving for one.

    This morning crisp fall apples and our seasonal favorite, cranberries are with a tasty topping of butter, cinnamon, brown sugar and flour, baked to a golden perfection. Oh my! Smell that! Breakfast is served.
