Each year Neal and I like to place a Fall pumpkin outside our apartment door.
Last year’s pumpkin graced the stoop from October to February. No kidding!
Neal found his 2024 Fall pumpkin and the ideal placement in front for optimum visual appreciation by downtown residents and tourists alike.
One morning sometime later as I was lumbering into the home office to start my morning cup of coffee, Neal already dressed, wanted to take a short walk around the neighborhood. Not even a minute later, he was raging about how our pumpkin was gone! Perils of downtown urban living, I guess.
Suddenly I had an idea!

I’ll skip replacing that dull ‘old skool’ orange pumpkin with a creation of my own.
Maybe two!
The dinner table became my art studio. I pressed my flowers and had my Mod Podge “matte” ready.
Drying in the hallway. Hey… these look pretty good.
A bit more touch up then in to the window to set completely. A few days later…
