The Look Back: November 2024
I had to stop at each overlook and hop out to snap a picture.
During our Georgia State Park travels Neal and I would often stay at one park then visit other parks nearby. Vogel State Park had become our base this time, nestled at the foot of Blood Mountain it was a great choice as a launching off point.
Georgia has so many lovely mountains and we enjoyed traveling winding roads through the Appalachians.
This day we were leaving our valley base on our way to Unicoi State Park and the views were so incredible! I got an app for my iPhone for identifying mountains, Peak Visor. It can identify peaks, mountain passes, lakes and mountains.
Look at all those mountains in the distance! Cool huh!
