This year again Pat Prokop opened his Garden on Memorial Day. Pat definitely has a green thumb! Dahlias were the show stoppers this time.
While walking around the garden trying to use photographer’s eye on these flowering marvels, I noticed there were tiny eyes examining me.

Eight tiny eyes. A jumping spider had made a home in one of the Dahlias. I moved to remain hidden but like most jumping spiders who don’t run, he was a bit curious about the huge device (iPhone 13 Pro Max) casting shadows in the midday light.
