After a busy week, it’s nice to rest on a Sunday afternoon and treat myself to a delicious dish of homemade Strawberry Shortbread.
You see this was not your average store bought desert.
Oh no my photog friends!
To make this scrumptious desert we had put some miles on our Hyundai Accent.
After discovering the Farm PassPort, we knew exactly where to go.
First traveling to Sunny Day Farms’ Country Market in Louisville, Georgia. A two hour drive from Savannah towards Augusta.
Once there, we found a beautiful, heavy, heavenly, homemade pound cake actually made in that country market’s kitchen!

Next, heading 13 miles up the road to Wren, Georgia, to Prescott’s Strawberries. We were very glad that we arrived on this day because the following day they would be closing for the season.
As you can see, Neal and I scored a healthy bounty of goodies and then resorted to basic math.
Cake 🍰 + Strawberries 🍓+ Ice Cream 🍦= Strawberry Shortcake.
