One of my favorite places in North Dakota is the International Peace Garden. It’s a tribute to the lasting peace between Canada and the United States. You have to leave both countries to visit the gardens, and you need a passport to go back to your respective home when you leave. The gardens belong to both countries, but are not part of either.
