For several years now Neal and I have placed a “travel tree” in our home. During our many vactions and traveling to Georgia State Parks and Historic Site we purposed to collect an ornament from each place we visited. Part of the excitement is as we decorate the tree get to experience memories of that place. Since we each hang different ornamental keepsakes, no two memories are the same, so decorating takes on a whole new meaning.
New travels mean new ornaments.
Remember that Farm Passport travel we did last year? Well, Neal and I were at it again in 2024! There will be posts updating all about our current Farm Passport travels.

Sow righteousness for yourselves and reap faithful love; break up your unplowed ground. It is time to seek the Lord until He comes and sends righteousness on you like the rain. Hosea 10:12
Our 2024 ornament depicts worms and roots in the soil.
They break up even very hard ground while also adding nutrients. This helps make the soil ready to be good, useful, and productive.
Hosea used farming language about breaking up the ground to encourage people to change wrong thinking; we might say “soften your heart.” Tough times had come because they weren’t obeying God. God wanted them to turn back to Him so that He could bless them.
We encourage you to examine yourselves. Are you following and obeying God? We honestly pray for blessings for you. The greatest blessing is to have a close relationship with the Creator of all that is.
